From 21 to 24 July 2025, eTACCHE project partners convened in Heraklion, Crete for the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2). The event brought together representatives from partner institutions in Germany, Greece, Israel, and Estonia for four days of collaborative reflection, planning, and cultural engagement.
Hosted in a unique open-air setting, the meeting focused on:
- Reviewing the outcomes of the first virtual exchange cohort, including course evaluations, student reflections, and the use of VR tools and project kits
- Planning future cohorts and preparing for broader school-level implementation of student-created materials
- Coordinating research and dissemination activities, including upcoming conference participation and continued development of the MOOC and multimedia outputs
- Hands-on workshops exploring digital tools such as Delightex and 360° media to support virtual cultural heritage learning
The program concluded with an outdoor cultural heritage tour to the Knossos Palace and an interactive visit to key monuments in Heraklion. These experiences served as inspiration for participants in the development of project kits and the creation of immersive virtual reality environments that will support innovative approaches to cultural heritage education within the project.
The next transnational partner meeting will be hosted in Oradea, Romania, in January 2026.
