eTACCHE at the Symposium on VR- and AR-Assisted Language Learning, Bamberg

The eTACCHE project was presented at the international Symposium on VR- and AR-Assisted Language Learning, held in Bamberg on 2–3 July 2026. Dr Mareike Oesterle (Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg) and Prof Dr Götz Schwab (Pädagogische Hochschule Karlsruhe) gave a talk entitled Innovating Cultural Heritage Education Through Virtual Reality, introducing the project’s approach of integrating eTwinning and immersive VR environments into pre-service teacher education. The presentation highlighted the shared seminar concept tested across partner institutions, examples of student-developed VR environments exploring local and international heritage sites, and key insights from student feedback on the relationship between technology and pedagogy.
